We have a computerised repeat prescription service. Repeat prescriptions are normally for patients with long-term conditions who receive regular treatment and your doctor will decide who can have a repeat prescription.
You can ask for a repeat prescription:
Wherever possible please give the exact drug names when ordering.
Please give at least 48 hours notice if you can.
From time to time we will ask you to see your doctor to review your medication. We do this to monitor your illness and medication.
Please ensure you make an appointment when you see the notification on your repeat slip.
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website.
